Fire alarm servicing needs to be carried out by a competent person with specialist knowledge of fire alarm systems and in depth of the fire alarm system servicing guidelines. We suggest routine Fire Alarm maintenance of your Fire Alarm System at every six month or quarter, as required by the customers own risk assessment, Fire Systems provide a 24 hour 365 day emergency call-out service.

Once a fire alarm maintenance or fire alarm servicing contract is in place, our office will contact you and will arrange a convenient time for our fire alarm system engineer to attend your premises.

Fire Systems’s Engineer does following fire alarm maintenance procedures:

  • Our engineer Inspect log book
  • Visually inspecting any structural or occupancy changes to assess whether changes to the fire alarm system are required
  • Checking false alarm records
  • Battery checking and testing
  • Checking and testing of control panel functions
  • Testing of fire alarm devices
  • Checking and testing of all fault indicators and circuits
  • Testing of printers
  • Other checks and tests recommended by the manufacturer
  • Reporting of outstanding defects
  • Completing log book
  • Issuing servicing certificate
